Hello there my favorite people!

I hope you're having a very blessed day.

Continuing with our St. Paddy's theme, today is all about St. Patrick's Day, and other Irish themed books.

Here we go!

First off is this wonderful book by author Lori Herter. THE THIN PLACE is not a cozy mystery. It is however a mysterious journey for those involved. I was hooked from the very first page. I would love to see a prequal of this tale to see the story of these characters leading up to this book.

She felt the call to The Emerald Isle. When her past reappears, will it alter her future?

Glenna Molloy yearns for solace. Weary of the California drudgery and in search of the spark her spirit so desperately seeks, the middle-aged travel writer sets off for the Irish homeland of her long-lost love. But she never expected that placing a wishing coin on an ancient standing stone would bring her back together with the man of her dreams.

Falling for him all over again, Glenna finds herself swept away by the gorgeous land and what may be a dash of magic. But with her overbearing writing partner hounding her and a mysterious woman claiming to be half-fey, she fears the charming spell she’s under is about to break.

Can Glenna become more than her connections to others?

The Thin Place is an enchanting women’s fiction novel. If you like beautifully vivid characters, rich Irish folklore, and intriguing magical realism, then you’ll adore Lori Herter’s peek behind the veil.

I don't see myself ever not reading cozies. Ever. Never. Ever. However, if I veer off the cozy path, THE THIN PLACE is the book I'd read before I U-turned my way back to cozies.

Cozy time!

To most of the people of Longely, New York, St. Paddy's Day means good food, great music, and plenty of Guinness. But when the lifeless body of Mike Sweeney floats to the top of a vat of green beer, it looks like the luck o' the Irish has just run out. Unfortunately for the Simmons sisters, Bernie and Libby, the number one suspect is related to one of their very best catering customers, the pampered and powerful Bree Nottingham. When Bree visits A Little Taste of Heaven to beseech them to clear her nephew's name, they just can't say no.

But the more information Bernie and Libby stir up, the more Duncan Nottingham looks like a killer. For Bernie and Libby, the situation is deadly and in danger of boiling over. And they can't count on good old Saint Pat to drive out the snake in their midst. . .they'll have to do it themselves, before a murderer strikes again.

Although she's taken an interest in Irish embroidery, Marcy Singer can't help but abandon her needlecraft when handsome local brewer Todd finds himself accused of murder. Both Todd and his friend Blake's fingerprints are on the murder weapon, and neither is talking about what happened. Marcy is determined to stitch together some luck from more than a few four-leaf clovers and prove that the culprit was someone else...

Not many people in Tinker’s Cove, Maine, knew Old Dan Malone. The grizzled barkeep’s social circle was limited to the rough-hewn lobstermen and other assorted toughs that frequented his bar. But when his body is found bobbing in the town’s icy harbor, Lucy Stone makes getting to know more about Old Dan a priority.

Local musician Dave Reilly insists Old Dan conned a winning lottery ticket worth five grand from him. Handyman Brian Donohue claims that Old Dan stiffed him for repair work he’d done at the bar. The confusion surrounding the death is only compounded by the arrival of actor Dylan Malone, Old Dan’s brother and a prominent, if fading, attraction of the Dublin stage. Dylan has come to direct the production of “Finian’s Rainbow,” the featured event at Our Lady of Hope’s annual St. Patrick’s Day extravaganza.

Was Old Dan killed by someone he’d cheated or someone he’d loved? While Lucy can’t be sure, one thing is abundantly clear—the stage is set for a murder mystery with a killer ending!
