The Keepsake Cove Mysteries
by
Mary Ellen Hughes

When Callie Reed comes to Keepsake Cove to reconnect with her aunt, Melodie, she is charmed by both the town of quaint collectible shops and by her aunt's fairy tale cottage. But Melodie's sudden death turns that charm into an unacceptable shock. Callie can't believe the ruling of "accidental" and is determined to discover the truth as she takes over running her aunt's collectible music box shop.

As she begins to uncover secrets, Callie is urged on with signals coming from her aunt's favorite music box. But are they instead warnings? If Callie isn't careful, she could meet a similar deadly fate amid Melodie’s collection.

New owner of a music box shop, Callie Reed, pitches in on the decorations for a special Halloween-themed book signing at Keepsake Cove, a quaint town of collectible shops on Maryland's Eastern Shore. She then welcomes the suspense author, who has opted to stay at a B&B with a mysterious history and an eccentric owner.

When the B&B owner is found dead, stabbed with a pair of vintage scissors, suspicion immediately falls on his estranged wife, Dorothy, who owns Keepsake Cove's vintage sewing shop. Callie and the visiting author team up to prove Dorothy's innocence, which draws them both into a tangle of secrets for which someone is willing to kill once again.

Callie finds treble in Keepsake Cove when her ex-boyfriend is framed for murder

Callie Reed is looking forward to her first Keepsake Cove spring festival. But her excitement dims considerably when she learns that her ex-boyfriend, Hank, will be performing with one of the hired country-western bands. Callie vows to keep her distance, but that changes when the band's manager, Bobby Linville, is found dead, killed with the music box Hank bought at Callie's shop.

Hank is soon singing a sad tune in a detention center with Callie his only lifeline. Though thoroughly aware of his many faults, she knows violence and murder aren't in his blood. But that means one of her fellow Keepsake Cove residents must be hiding a dark secret―something Callie desperately needs to uncover.

1. No foul language.
2. No going-a-bit-too-far love scenes.
3. No graphic descriptions of death scenes.
