It's
Cozy Food Friday!

That means it's time to share a recipe from
another great a cozy mystery blogger! 😉

This week's recipe is from

Me!

I've had so much fun sharing recipes,

I wanted to share another.

Summertime is fast approaching. Most people don't like cooking hot meals in the house. That means grilling, cold meals, and eating lighter.

Of course, there is another option that will keep your house cool. A slow cooker!

Oh, I love a slow cooker. Hot, yummy meals that fill your house with tempting, drool worthy aromas, and that fill your tum with delicious, hearty comfort food.

Here's a simple one.

SLOW COOKER CHICKEN AND GRAVY

Ingredients

4 - boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 - 0.80 to 0.90 envelopes chicken gravy mix (turkey gravy mix will work)
1 - 10 to 12 ounce can cream of chicken soup
½ - cup of chicken broth
¾ - tablespoon dried parsley flakes
2 - scallions (green onion) tops (optional)

Directions

Pour cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth into slow cooker (at least 6 quarts in size)This can get salty. If you're watching your sodium, use low salt cream of chick soup and/or chicken broth.

Add contents of powdered gravy mix, and parsley flakes. Whisk until well blended.

Place chicken breasts into slow cooker. Spoon some gravy mix over the chicken.

Cook on low for 5 - 6 hours. When you can shred the chicken with forks, it's ready to go!

Serve over potatoes, rice, or noodles. Or load into a crusty roll. Sprinkle the chopped green tops of the scallions on top for a fresh burst of flavor.

This is so easy to make, and wonderful to eat.
And, there's so many ways to serve it.
Hmmm . . . I know what I want for dinner tonight!
