In today's author spotlight,
I shine my light on another of my favorite authors, and all around lovely lady,
Barbara Early / Beverly Allen!

Barbara Early earned an engineering degree, but after four years of doing nothing but math, developed a sudden allergy to the subject and decided to choose another occupation.

written as Beverly Allen

As the co-owner of The Rose in Bloom, Audrey Bloom creates magnificent flower arrangements for brides to be.

A designer of eye-catching bridal bouquets—many of them based on the Victorian meanings behind each flower—Audrey is used to celebrations that end with happily ever after. In fact, every couple she’s worked with is still together, living in wedded bliss.

Liz McCall grew up in a playful winter wonderland but it was never her dream to manage her father’s vintage toyshop. However, after he sank his entire police pension into the business, someone needed to help him turn his dreams into reality—and keep him from sneaking off to patrol the not-so-mean streets of East Aurora, NY.

High school geometry teacher, Donna Russell likes her life well-ordered and logical, even if it is a tad solitary at times. But when a charming co-worker at the local food bank disappears just before Christmas, Donna is left with more questions than solutions.

Our cozy authors often use their writing talent in other areas as well!

Puppet scripts suitable for use by church puppet ministries.

Bringing out her first book in 2011, Barbara was soon well on her way to becoming a full fledged author of mystery novels. This would also see her producing the much loved ‘Vintage Toyshop Mystery’ series of novels too. Not just writing murder mysteries, though, she is also known to inject an element of romance into her stories too.

Previously working as an English and science teach in high-school, she is also known to go under the name of Beverly Allen as well. With a number of other passions, including crafts and cooking, she is always keeping herself busy.
