MY REVIEW

Whenever I know I’m about to start a book by Jenn McKinlay, I clear a day from my schedule because I know I’m not going to do anything else but read that book through until the end.

Book 9 in the Library Lover’s Mysteries is another incredible installment to an already top of the shelf cozy mystery series. With a plot so mesmerizing I don’t remember turning the pages, HITTTING THE BOOKS pulled me into Briar Creek to such an extent that I can still remember walking into the library, being with the crafternooners, hearing the hit-and-run that happened just outside. And that was just the first chapter!

HITTING THE BOOKS was the perfect whodunit. I was kept guessing the entire way through. And just when I’d catch on to one thing, another would sneak in and have my brain cells on overload again. With suspense, action, romance, humor, and so many surprises (good and bad), by the time I set the book down, my face hurt from the array of emotions that flew across it. I know that may sound over the top, but it’s true! You’ll see for yourself when you read this awesome tale.    

I have loved every book, every series author Jenn McKinlay has penned. Her books always get moved to the top of my TBR. The Library Lover’s Mysteries are among my favorites, and HIITING THE BOOKS is written proof why.
