The victim is a close friend--who also happens to be a look-alike of a popular cabaret singer set to perform at the festival. Who could have wanted to harm this innocent girl? Was it a case of mistaken identity?
 
As accusations abound and suspicions swirl, Kathleen, Hercules and Owen will put their abilities--both mundane and magical--to the test, and lay down the paw.

MY REVIEW

Can you feel it? There’s magic in the air. Owen and Hercules are back and as enchanting as ever!

It’s already book ten in the Magical Cats Mysteries. The way author Sofie Kelly writes, it isn’t surprising. She has a flare for whodunits, and gift for storytelling that really captivates her readers.  

THE CATS CAME BACK is everything I have come to expect from author Kelly. A good, strong mystery that left me guessing till the end. There’s never a lull in the story, because the main mystery is just one tale to follow in this book. There’s always something going on making it hard to put the book down. So, I didn’t. 😉

It has been delightful to watch this series grow and change. I’m looking forward to many more installments. If THE CATS CAME BACK is any example,  Sofie Kelly will be entertaining us for years to come!
