A lot of people are coming out of a pretty cold winter. I thought a book featuring the tropics of Hawaii would help to get you warmed up while anticipating summer.

My book spotlight is on the
UKULELE DEADLY
BOOK SEVEN
in the Aloha Lagoon Mysteries
Each book in this series is written by a different author!
by
Leslie Langtry

Ukulele player Nani Johnson is just starting to put the past behind her and settle in on Kauai with her loveable but crazy Mom, her hot new boyfriend, and regular gigs at both the Blue Hawaii Wedding Chapel and the Aloha Lagoon Resort. But unfortunately her island life proves anything but relaxing when a dead man shows up carrying an ID that says he's from Nani's hometown. Now it looks like Nani and her mother are the main suspects.

Things go from bad to bleak in paradise as Nani’s mom starts acting even odder than usual, there’s a mutiny involving snakes at the Blue Hawaii Wedding Chapel, and more bodies inconveniently pop up near Nani. Can Nani stay out of jail long enough to unmask the real killer…or will the police pin it all on her?

About Leslie

Leslie Langtry is the USA TODAY Bestselling author of the Merry Wrath Mysteries, the Greatest Hits Series, the Aloha Lagoon Ukulele Mysteries and Sex, Lies & Family vacations.

She is not, nor ever has been a former CIA agent or an assassin (a question that surprisingly comes up more than you'd think). She has been a Girl Scout Volunteer for 15 years and was a troop leader for 10 years - which gave her a wealth of material that she uses in her books.

Leslie lives in the Midwest with her family and assorted animals and has an unnatural obsession with cake. You can find out more about her and her books at www.leslielangtry.com

  4. I'll have to check this series out. I haven't heard of it. But there are a lot of cozy mystery series I'm still finding out about.

  5. This series set in Hawaii sounds so great. And I saw the ukuleles that Linda is giving away and they are so interesting. I have three grandchildren who would be thrilled with one. I am anxious to get the first (and second) books ordered especially since your post recommends them. You have great taste in books, so I know I will enjoy this series, Lisa. Thanks for the information about this author.

    Take care,
    Cynthia B.
