Cozy Food Friday
Thanksgiving leftover version!
If you're anything like me, you can't eat another bite. Well, maybe some leftovers. What do you do to change that leftover turkey? Give this a try!
1
(8-oz.) tube crescent rolls
1 cup
leftover mashed potatoes
1 cup
leftover stuffing
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1¾ cups
shredded leftover turkey
1 cup
leftover cranberry sauce
1 tbsp.
melted butter
4 tbsp. onion powder
1 tbsp.
garlic powder
Freshly chopped parsley, for garnish
Leftover gravy, warmed, for dipping
Unroll crescent rolls, separating each triangle. Arrange triangles on baking sheet in a a sunburst with pointy ends of triangles facing outward and bases of triangles overlapping.
Spread mashed potatoes over triangle bases, forming a ring. Top with stuffing, cheese, turkey, and cranberry sauce. Fold triangle tips over filling. Don't worry of they don't close tight. You want them to have openings like in the photos.
Brush crescent dough with melted butter, mixed with garlic powder and onion powder.
Bake until golden, 17 to 20 minutes.
Garnish with parsley (your choice) and serve with gravy for dipping.
