Maybe that's true. The following series all ended after just three books, and as the saying goes, they were good. No, they were great! Among my very favorites ever. But I have no doubt if these series had gone beyond three books, we'd never settle for threes again.

ReplyDeleteYes I've read a couple of these series. Wish they could continue. Another one ( series) that was excellent was from JJ Coo, (The Sweet Pepper Brigade) . That series left us hanging in mid-air. ugh. But it was great.
ReplyDeleteHi Vicki. I adored the Sweet Pepper series. Sadly, it ended because the author J.J. Cook aka authors Joyce and Jim Lavene both passed away. :-( They were wonderfully lovely people, and the cozy mystery community lost two shining stars.
DeleteI have read and loved all of the series you mentioned. They were all so good and I hated to see them end!
