MY REVIEW

I prefer my cozies to take place in small communities. So, when I started reading, KILLER REPUTATION, which takes place in Washington D.C., I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to enjoy it. Well, I’m happy to say though it takes place in a big city, this story still had small town feel.

Adina Donati is a determined protagonist with an original occupation. She works in a think tank. The supporting characters were interesting to get to know. And I adore Adina’s rescue dog, Bonzo.

Author Cassidy Salem has penned a clever whodunit with a twist I never saw coming. It was a fast and entertaining read, that I finished in one setting.

KILLER REPUTATION is the third book in the Adina Donati, Accidental Sleuth Mysteries but the first one for me. Rest assured it can be read as a standalone.

Cassidy Salem has always been an avid reader. She is especially fond of mysteries (both cozy and traditional) and police procedurals. Cassidy also enjoys reading historical fiction focused on American and world history, as well as the classics. When she’s not reading, she enjoys music and spending time with family and friends, and travels with her husband and son whenever possible. Her travels have taken her to destinations throughout the United States, Europe, and Scandinavia.
