I thought it would be fun to share with you some of my favorite cozy mystery series old and new.

Every Monday I will spotlight a different series that I have loved from the very first book.

This week my series spotlight is on
THE CANDY HOLLIDAY MYSTERIES
by
B. B. Haywood

When I read the first book in the Candy Holliday Mysteries, TOWN IN A BLUEBERRY JAM, I knew I had found a new favorite series to add to my list.

The characters, the setting, the entire feel of these books, make it a joy to pick up each and every new installment in this series.

Take a look at this great series!

BOOK ONE

First in the fabulous new Candy Holliday Murder mystery series.

In the seaside village of Cape Willington, Maine, Candy Holliday has an idyllic life tending to the Blueberry Acres farm she runs with her father. But, when an aging playboy and the newly crowned Blueberry Queen are killed, Candy investigates to clear the name of a local handyman. And as she sorts through the town's juicy secrets, things start to get sticky indeed...

BOOK TWO

Things start to boil over at the annual Lobster Stew Cook-Off when an award-winning recipe is stolen and a seven-time contest champion mysteriously disappears-leaving Candy no choice but to find out who in Cape Willington, Maine, would get steamed enough to break the law.

BOOK THREE

Cape Willington's annual Winter Moose Fest is in full swing when the sightings of a mysterious white moose-and rumors of a dead body found in the woods-send Candy scrambling to separate fact from fiction before she finds herself in the bullseye of a ruthless killer...

BOOK FOUR

In the quaint seaside village of Cape Willington, Maine, Candy Holliday has a mostly idyllic life, tending to the Blueberry Acres farm she runs with her father and occasionally stepping in to solve a murder or two…

Halloween is fast approaching, and preparations for the Pumpkin Bash, Cape Willington’s annual autumn festival, are well underway. Candy is running this year’s haunted hayride, in the hopes of making some extra cash. But when she discovers a real dead body near some fake tombstones, Candy’s side job becomes a full-blown investigation to find out who turned a holiday attraction into a real horror show.

Will Candy’s keen eye for detail unearth buried town secrets? As her search leads her through old graveyards and a haunted house, Candy will discover that not all of the skeletons hidden in this small town’s closets are Halloween decorations…

In the face of a pickled poisoning spree, Candy will have to track down the culprit to make sure her own name stays well-preserved. The much-anticipated wedding of local resident Maggie Tremont and popular baker Herr Georg has stirred up the usually quiet coastal town of Cape Willington. To make sure the wedding of the year goes off without a hitch, the participants gather at a pre-wedding dinner—everyone, that is, except the best man...

Worried, Candy, the maid of honor, goes looking for him, finally tracking him down to the upstairs archive rooms at the English Point Lighthouse and Museum. There’s only one problem: he’s dead, struck over the head with a bottle of champagne, the same exclusive brand that was ordered for the dinner. One of Candy’s friends is accused of stealing sap from a rival’s sugar maple trees, and landscaper Mick Rilke is found dead, floating down the river wrapped up in a fisherman’s net. 4. I began reading this great series when it first came out. I love New England themed books, plus after reading them I passed them on to my Maine friend to read. I can't believe that I have missed the last three in this series however. There are so many great series to read is one reason, but I really did like one about Maine very much and this was one of them. I will have to get my ordering done and catch up on this series for sure. Thank you for the reminder Lisa. You are the best.
