I have admired Ms. Yearwood for some time, and have really enjoyed watching her cooking show. Her recipes are just close enough to some of the great food I grew up eating, and cook myself today, yet with differences that will add tasty new changes to mine. 

TRISHA’S KITCHEN starts out with a Forward by Trisha’s husband, Garth Brookes. His love for his wife, and her cooking shine through. Next is the author’s lovely introduction, which is followed by a short, but useful section on equipment, & substitutes that will make your cooking experience easier and more enjoyable.

And of course, there are the recipes. 125 of them!

I could feel the love and heart that went into it all. It feels to me more like a friend’s recipe file box and photo album. What a wonderful gift for the author to share with us all.
