Local Woman Found Dead
By Tiffany Reed
Cherry Hills Courant Crime reporter
The body of Hilda Tinsdale, a lifelong Cherry Hills
resident, was found in her apartment earlier this week by her neighbor,
Katherine Harper. Kat was alerted that something wasn't right when she spotted
Matilda, Mrs. Tinsdale's cat, on her doorstep. When she went to return the cat,
she discovered Mrs. Tinsdale and evidence of a struggle. "I just don't
know who would do such a thing," Kat told us when we managed to catch up
to her. "But I'm going to find out."
The Cherry Hills Police Department is asking anyone with
information on Mrs. Tinsdale's murder to contact Detective Andrew Milhone, who
is leading the investigation. When asked who was on the suspect list, Detective
Milhone's only comment was that "Everyone in Mrs. Tinsdale's social circle
is being looked at closely."
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Tinsdale's daughter asks that
community members please send donations to Furry Friends Foster Families.

Thank you, Carol! I love writing this series, and I hope readers enjoy the stories as much as I do. Good luck in the giveaway. –Marla (aka Paige Sleuth)
DeleteGood fun.
ReplyDeleteHow do you decide on a pseudonym?
Hi, Libby! I write stand-alone mysteries under my real name too, but they're not very popular. When I started this series, I debated over whether to publish them under my real name or to use a pen name. In the end, I decided I'd rather keep the books separate, mostly so I could have a fresh start with this series. I remember considering several names, but I honestly can't remember why I finally settled on Paige Sleuth. At any rate, I'm glad I chose the path I did, because Paige ended up becoming much more popular than me! –Marla (aka Paige Sleuth)
DeleteThis sounds like an amazing series. I really like the covers of the books and that definitely makes me want to read the series.
ReplyDeleteThis is a new author and series to me. I really enjoyed the description of the books and I'm looking forward to reading the series.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dianne! Those are my cats Anna Belle and Molly on the covers. They said I had to include them, and they run the house so how could I refuse? Best of luck in the giveaway! –Marla (aka Paige Sleuth)
DeleteThank you for the giveaway. Supporting any animal rescue/shelter is a good cause. I already told my sister. She's planning on getting a book. Della at deepotter (at) peoplepc (dot) com
ReplyDeleteAnimal rescue is a cause close to my heart, and I'm so thankful this series is popular enough that I can help support a wonderful local organization here in Las Vegas. And thanks so much for telling your sister about my books and helping to spread the word! Without readers (and bloggers like Lisa) who are willing to share, we authors wouldn't be able to do what we love. –Marla (aka Paige Sleuth)
DeleteI really want to read the entire series now. I'm so glad to find a new author and a new series to read.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you found me too, and good luck in the contest! –Marla (aka Paige Sleuth)
DeleteI love the Cherry Hills name, as my husband loves anything with cherries, like cheesecake! :) I broke my ankle a couple weeks ago, so I am looking forward to some quality time with some good books.
ReplyDeleteFunny you should mention cherries because I'm currently snacking on Ben & Jerry's vegan Cherry Garcia ice cream. I'm sure your husband would love it! Sorry to hear about your ankle. Here's wishing you a quick recovery and lots of good reading material to help pass the time! –Marla (aka Paige Sleuth)
DeleteCan't wait to finish the book I am reading to get started!
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling! Too many books, too little time. I hope my books end up being worth the wait! –Marla (aka Paige Sleuth)
