“Georgia, Georgia . . .” No one captures that sweet Georgia feeling, or writes a mystery like author Susan Furlong.

WAR AND PEACH, the third book in the Georgia Peach Mysteries, was worth every day spent waiting for it to be released.

I love that every chapter opens with a numbered Southern Girl Secret . . . Southern Girl Secret #045: A Southern gal never starts a fight, but she sure the heck knows how to finish one. That’s just one of the many witty sayings you’ll find. Fun!

Ms. Furlong has cooked up a story that is intriguing, witty, intelligent, and all around captivating! From the opening line I was hanging on every word of WAR AND PEACH, and was left breathless by the time I reached the exciting end. This is definitely the best of the bushel in this wonderful mystery series so far!

As with the first two books in the series, you’ll also find some delicious peach recipes. Hmmm….yum!

Make sure to pick up your own copy of WAR AND PEACH. It will be one of the tastiest books you’ll read this year!
