Hello friends!
It's been long time!
I want to thank the lovely, Karen of A Cup of Tea and a Cozy Mystery, for the amazing job she did taking care of the blog! Also, a big thank you to all of the authors for joining in with the wonderful Q&As.
My thanks also to each of you for visiting each day, to join in and comment. You're all the best!
As you can see, I'm picture free today. I lost all of my fun pics when my laptop died.
(RIP Dell Inspiron. You were true and faithful for many years. You will be missed.)
And to my replacement laptop, who lived in a box untouched by human hands for almost two years, I'm sorry we only had 2 days together before your hard drive fried. (You read that correctly)
And to my sister's Darlene's old laptop, the day and a half we shared was filled with hope, until you too were called to laptop heaven.
To my new laptop, I want us to grow old together. I promise you a fun and cozy ride.
No joke you all. It was laptop carnage around this house for days! I was honestly scared to take this one from the box and set it up.
Wow, Lisa, what a nightmare! I’m sure that experience was beyond frustrating. Glad you’re back and I will be looking forward to your book reviews.
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday!

Hi, Pat! Oy, it has been a journey. LOL Electronics and I don't have a great history. Must be my magnetic personality. LOL
Deletewow sounds like computer heaven got a lot of new drives. welcome back. look forward to your reviews
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Lisa! What a mess --- I've been trying to back up my laptop as it is full and I need to move some things off of it. Ugh. How about a feature with occasional looks at some cozy authors' favorite series, either of their own or other writers, or authors' pets and how they influence the books they write such as Karen Rose Smith and her Caprice de Luca series, or Valerie Burns? Just thoughts that came to mind when thinking about q and a with authors.
ReplyDeleteHoping all goes well with your new 'puter!
Happy to have you back! You picked an excellent person to hold down the fort. I was missing a few days due to medical tests, but enjoyed her posts.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your nightmare with computers. Can only imagine how horrifying that was. I know absolutely nothing about how the computer works.
Off to Little Rock today for more tests - colonoscopy & EGD (so you know the last 24 hours have been fun - NOT). So hoping today is a better day for us both. :)
