A CHARMING VOODOO
Book 10 in the Magical Cures Mysteries
by Tonya Kappes
Bubble. . . bubble. . . Whispering Falls is abuzz with the new housing development and new shops popping up all over the magical village. Cures and trouble. . . A Magical Cure’s owner, June Heal’s intuition is on high alert and she just can’t shake that something bad is about to happen. Magic stirs . . . It must be the upcoming All Hallow’s Eve celebration that has love in the air. Or maybe it’s because there are several more citizens in Whispering Falls. And trouble doubles . . . June’s intuition is far from wrong after she stumbles upon new town resident Patch Burr who is lying dead in the middle of his pumpkin patch.
A CHARMING VOODOO is an enchanting delight in an already magical series.
“What power? The power of voodoo. Who do? You do. Do what?” ~ Magic Dance by David Bowie
Tonya Kappes indeed has me under her spell, for she is the only author I would consider reading a book with the word voodoo in the title. (I’m not kidding. Voodoo is way too creepy for me.)
A beautifully quaint town, fun and eccentrically memorable characters, murder, mystery and magic, author Tonya Kappes offers it all, and more in A CHARMING VOODOO, book 10 in her Magical Cures Mystery series. In all fairness, Kappes offers all of the above in every mesmerizing book in this series! However, in this latest installment, readers get to meet new characters, and are introduced to new shops. Whispering Falls, KY seems to be growing at an amazing rate. Or should that be, at a magical rate? Hmmm…You’ll have to read it for yourself. ;-)
As with all the wonderful books penned by author Kappes, A CHARMING VOODOO is a fast paced, hold-on-to-your-chair mystery that will leave you breathless. You’re going to laugh. You may tear up (I did). You’re going to oh and ah. You are going to read your way through a spellbinding thrill ride that you’ll never want to end!
Tonya has written over 20 novels and 4 novellas, all of which have graced numerous bestseller lists including USA Today. Best known for stories charged with emotion and humor, and filled with flawed characters, her novels have garnered reader praise and glowing critical reviews. She lives with her husband and a teenage boy (her other three boys have spread their wings in college) and two very spoiled schnauzers in Kentucky.
